CAS graduate students who are offered stipends for work-for-pay from CAS or non-CAS UD units (for example the UD Library, the McNair Scholars Program, or CAS Undergraduate Academic Services) may be eligible for a full or partial CAS tuition scholarship. Students must demonstrate how the work in which they will be engaged is relevant to their course of study.
If a majority of credit hours will be taken outside CAS in the semester for which a tuition scholarship is sought, this fact must be noted in the request, along with an explanation of why this is appropriate for the students course of study.
Approval process: department submits a request to associate dean, with a copy to Dee Smith.
