Suggest an outstanding CAS alum for 2019 Achievement Award

Director and choreographer Susan Stroman '76 was among those honored with a 2018 Alumni Achievement Award from the College.

The College of Arts and Sciences is seeking nominations for its 2019 Alumni Achievement Awards, presented each spring at the colleges Celebration of Achievement and Success ceremony.

Created in 2010, the awards recognize alumni who have had outstanding professional achievements while maintaining a connection to their community and to the University of Delaware.

This year, the college has added a new award category, the Young Alumni Achievement Award, to acknowledge and encourage service to the University by alumni age 40 and younger.

Recipients of these awards are selected from nominations submitted by faculty members, staff, alumni and friends of the college and the University. Alumni are particularly encouraged to nominate an accomplished former classmate or a professional colleague.

This is an excellent time to recognize those alumni who have made great achievements since leaving our programs, said John A. Pelesko, interim dean of the college. I look forward to receiving an exciting set of nominees.

This years Celebration of Achievement and Success will be held on Tuesday, May 21.
