Meet with NUCLEUS Staff

NUCLEUS staff are available to assist in your journey toward degree completion through scheduled appointments,  skill building seminars and informal meetings.

We can help with questions about:

  • Utilizing academic support and advisement resources on campus

  • Understanding the requirements you need to fulfill for graduation

  • Any other academic related questions you have and are unsure of who to ask

NUCLEUS staff offices are located in 118 Brown Lab. 

College of Arts and Sciences Student Advising

​All College of Arts and Sciences Students are assigned an advisor (listed on your UDSIS Student Center) , as well as access to UAS Academic Program Managers during walk-in hours (M-F, 1PM-4PM) for routine questions and concerns. UAS Program Managers may also be reached at  

Additional Advising & Support Resources

Office of Academic Enrichment for tutoring, workshops, skill-building courses, and more. 

University Writing Centers for free one-on-one tutoring to improve writing. 

Mathematical Sciences Tutorial Lab for tutorial assistance in Math 010, Math 114, Math115, Math ​117, Mat​h ​221, Math 241, Math 201, and Math 202​​.  

ISLL Learning Center Biology, Chemistry, and Physics graduate teaching assistants available for office hours appointments and drop in tutoring. 

Office of Disability Support Services facilitates appropriate and reasonable accommodations in order to eliminate or minimize accessibility barriers. 

Office of Equity and Inclusion works to educate our campus community about their rights, and to provide guidance and support.

Center for Counseling and Student Development promotes personal, educational and career development for students through Individual and group counseling appointments.
